Process: 
The Company Picnic Committee came up with a theme for their company picnic.  I then gathered several theme related ideas for a committee presentation.  In presenting ideas I kept in mind the theme as well as the season, which is early September.  The hats and bandanas were to be used as “spirit gifts”, meaning that when everyone arrived they would be given the gifts to wear and help set the mood.  The main gifts were to be family or couple gifts so the selection needed to be something that everyone could use.  In selecting a children’s gift we needed to think of something that would appeal to most ages.
